SHOW REPORTS

SupaDog Agility Rescue League
The 2010 finals were held on the Saturday at Just Dogs Live. The weather was hot hot hot and so were the dogs. There were some splendid rounds from these second-hand dogs.

KCI Agility Festival
The results of the prestigious Cup classes and all three days of competition are now available on-line.

European Open 2010
Competing in these Finals could well be a dictionary definition for the word 'pressure' and every one of the GB team performed extremely well against the very best in the world.

SPECIALS

Have-A-Go Agility
The Kennel Club is very keen on introducing the public to agility via the Have-A-Go ring but is it worth the cost of hiring and transporting the equipment to the event? Steph King went to the Watford demo at Gatcombe Park Festival of Eventing and this was her blog.

Laverock Holiday Cottage Competition Winners
Neville Turner who judged the Laverock Holiday Competition was overwhelmed by the number and quality of entries received and the stories they told. 'Everyone was a winner,' he said. ' My wife and I were frequently reaching for the box of tissues. Congratulations to the winners - Jackie Bromwich and Sheena Scrafton.

Smart Clinic
Many agility handlers might have wondered why Gemma Osmond took her dogs to the Smart Clinic for an assessment when there was nothing obvious wrong with them. But she thought better safe than sorry.

Agility's Got Talent
You thought that Tina and Chandi were the only dog act on Britain's Got Talent. Well, our own mother/daughter act  Vanessa and Lisa Hardin almost got to the live shows with their agility dogs Tia, Tazi and Trouble.

Mongrel Madness
Ruby Shorrock prefers mixed breeds to pedigrees and says that her favourite breed is ‘rescued.' She has vowed that throughout her life she will only ever have rescued dogs and what's more, she loves agility. Her story brought tears to Mike Afia's eyes.

Moving Up
The most frequently asked questions about going up to the next grade of a Kennel Club show answered including clarification that, in order to count towards progression, a round must be clear and in time.

 Give Your Dog a Bone?
Dogs love bones. It's a fact. But did you know that some bones can be dangerous. Here are some tips on how to keep your dog happy and safe.

  • Concern from a vet about feeding raw meat and bones to dogs

Agility in Northern Ireland
It's a small, close knit friendly community which at the same time is highly competitive.
The Glandore Gang reports on agility in the Province.

Horse Agility
Introducing the equine equivalent of dog agility for people who don't want to or can't ride. Just think of the horses as big dogs!

REGULAR FEATURES

Brags & Anti Brags
Pat Conibere's husband had never handled a dog before but got a 3rd place at his first show. And now you can see his runs on-line, too. Can you top this?

Agility Aunt Unmasked
We reveal the identity of the Agilitynet Agony Aunt and try to help solve your agility problems. All questions large and small tackled.

Rainbow Bridge
Jackie Bromwich's Lace has gone to the Rainbow Bridge to be with the other Foxtwists. Jayne Bray has lost her Buzzy Bad Boy, the first crossbreed CC winner and a loyal (and protective) friend. Boogie was Hannah Banks' blue eyed boy who, over the years, took her to many finals.

Brags & Anti-Brags
Congratulations to Peggy Sidewater's Bryn who wins his first rosette (ever) for never having any clear rounds! On the other hand, Chris Stamp competed with his chocolate St. Poodle Barnaby for about seven years and says they never left a show without a placed rosette. Now it's your chance to boast, crow, show off or blow your own trumpet about your agility highs and lows.

INTERACTIVE

Message Board
Good luck to the IMCA - PAWC Team representing the UK at the competition in Switzerland from 25 September.

A-Z of Clubs
You may not have realised they were gone, but the club post codes are back! And now there is a Google map facility linked to each entry that has a post code. Are your club or group's training address details correct?

Flea Market
We added a new section for Working Trials equipment. Looking for a KCI camping pass? We have some on offer. Clear out your shed or garage. Earn extra cash to fund your show entries. Recycle your old agility equipment via the Flea Market. It's a free service and you'll make someone else happy.
