Jen Lewis is setting up a new training venture in West and North Yorkshire, starting on Thursday evenings from WEdnesday, 12 October. She will be running training sessions for all levels of competing dogs and pre-agility foundation classes for puppies and complete beginners near York. All sessions will be held indoors in a lovely, large indoor equestrian centre. There are currently spaces available for all levels. There will also be sessions available for people with dogs Grade 3 and above, wishing to train their dogs on the equipment without instruction. Beginners to Winners Agility is now taking bookings for pre-agility classes. Each six week course costs £39, payable in advance. The lessons are suitable for dogs under the age of 12 months, although older inexperienced dogs will also benefit from the training, and will teach relationship building, control and focus, body awareness and balance. A full syllabus will be taught over twelve weeks and will lay an excellent foundation for progression to beginner’s classes and agility equipment.

Racing-redd Agility will be starting a new 10 week beginners course on Monday, 7 February to 11 April from 1.30 - 2.30pm at it's new second venue in Newborough (PE67SG), near Peterborough. The course will be for anyone who would like to try agility for the first time. Over the 10 week course you and your dog will be introduced to all the equipment and, by the end of the course, you will be able to negotiate small sequences with the skills you and your dog have learnt. Dogs will need to be at least 12 months old. The cost of the course is £80 which includes one off membership.

Racing-redd Agility will also be starting an evening training session at Newborough once the lighter nights get here on Thursday evening.

Screaming Agility Dogs Training has managed to secure themselves a new indoor venue at Great Alne, nr Alcester, Warwickshire B49 6JA.
