The CSJ Highland Agility Stakes is the only competition for Senior and advanced agility dogs open to all UK competitors but with qualifiers and finals all held in Scotland. It aims to showcase the best of agility in Scotland! Lisa Duggan organised the event.

Congratulations to everyone who has qualified for this year's final on Sunday, 6 July at Scotland's National Game Fair at Scone Palace.

In order to receive your entry and car parking passes, you need to confirm your attendance to Lisa Duggan by email by no later than 10 June including an address to which tickets can be sent and an emergency phone contact. Reserves will be called as required.

CSJ Highland Agility Stakes Heat Announced for 2014

This year’s CSJ Highland Agility Stakes final will take place at the Scottish Game Fair on the weekend of 5-6 July at Scone Palace. The judge will be the vastly experienced and well known Blair Cochrane.

  • Dundee ADTC - Small, Medium and Large qualifiers

  • Fife DAC - Small, Medium and Large qualifiers

  • Scottish Border Collie Club - Small, Medium and Large qualifiers

  • Woodside DAC - Small, Medium and Large qualifiers

  • Fair City DTC –Small and Medium qualifiers

  • Gleniffer DTC – Large qualifier

CSJ Highland Agility Stakes 2014- Rules for schedules

Five heats for each height category will take place at KC registered shows in Scotland. Heats will take the form of graded or combined 6-7 agility classes held under standard KC rules and regulations. Where shows run the qualifier as a graded or combined 5-7 agility class only grade 6 or grade 7 dogs will be eligible to be placed for the final. The preliminary event and final will take place at the Scottish Game Fair at Scone on the weekend of 5 and 6 July 2014 and will each consist of an agility class judged according to KC rules and regulations.

Competitors may enter more than one dog in any heat and may qualify more than one dog in any final. Once a dog has qualified for the final further heats can be entered for competition.

Small CSJ Highland Agility Stakes
The winner or first previously unqualified dog from each of the 5 heats will go through to the final at the Game Fair. Dogs eligible to compete are those measuring 350 mm (1 foot 1¾ inches) or under at the withers and those eligible to compete in grades 6 or 7 for Small dogs.

Medium CSJ Highland Agility Stakes
The winner or first previously unqualified dog from each of the 5 heats will go through to the final at the Game Fair. Dogs eligible to compete are those measuring over 350 mm (1 foot 1¾ inches) and those measuring 430 mm (1 foot 5 inches) or under at the withers and eligible to compete in grades 6 or 7 for Medium dogs.

Large CSJ Highland Agility Stakes
The first four previously unqualified dogs from each of the 5 heats will go through to the final at the Game Fair. Dogs eligible to compete are those measuring over 430 mm (1 foot 5 inches) at the withers and eligible to compete in grades 6 or 7 for large dogs
