Vegas organisers Jackie and Kev Kenny, Hazel Higgins and David Bew are pleased to announce that
the Dog Vegas Large Agility Combined G3-5 Qualifiers will now be supported by Paws Trading.

In her announcement Jackie Kenny said, 'Many of you will have seen or bought things from Paula's pet stall at the Dog Vegas shows such as North Derbyshire, Nottingham, Beacon, Scunthorpe and Lincoln. She has a vast amount of stock - everything you could possibly need for your dog at the most competitive prices on the agility circuit. Most likely she will be having a trade stand at the shows. The 10 heats will remain the same with rosettes from 1st – 15th place and a nice trophy for the winner. If the class is split, the sponsorship will cover both halves.
The Dog Vegas Final will be sponsored by the Dog Vegas team, who are providing £250 in prize money, a 1st place trophy, vouchers for money off future dog Vegas shows, placing rosettes to 5th and a commemorative rosettes to all finalists.
As a result of securing the Paws Trading sponsorship, the Dog Vegas organisers have decided to sponsor qualifiers for the Small & Medium Dogs as well as the Large ones. There will be 10 qualifiers i.e. 5 for Small Dogs and 5 for Medium Dogs. The class will be a Combined G3-5 Agility. Please note that these are not 'special' classes.
The top three from each class will be invited to attend the final at the August Dog Vegas show where the 30 Small & Medium dogs will compete against each other, at their own height, for a total of £100 prize money and a 1st place trophy.
Rosettes will be provided for places 1st to 5th place and there will be a 1st place trophy. If the class is split then, they will provide the above in both halves.
The Dog Vegas team would also like to thank Taryntimers for their generous sponsorship for 2009. Taryntimers have been proving timing equipment to all UKA and most KC and independent agility shows for many years. Sarah Stokoe took over the business in October 2007. Since then, about half of the equipment has been upgraded, with the rest due to be done in 2009. KC Dog Vegas shows in 2009
All of the Large Dog Classes will now be graded, apart from the Combined Qualifier
classes. Due to the limited number of Small and Medium dogs that attend the show it is not
possible to provide graded classes for all these heights. However, the Combined classes will be
broken down further, so instead of Combined G1-4 and Combined G5-7, there will be a mixture of
combinations for example G1-2, G3-5, G6-7 plus there will be one graded class each day.
May Show
For 2009, the Dog Vegas organisers are hoping to add an extra day to their May show
so it runs from Friday, 15 May to Sunday, 17 May. When they confirmation of this they
will make an announcement on this site.
