Good bye to Pedigree and thanks

The Kennel Club Olympia Agility Stakes at the London Olympia Horse Show are not just any
finals. They're the M&S of agility competitions. From start to finish, it's 34,000 entries, 74
heats and 11 semi-finals. Only 100 can qualify, and they are the best of the best. We asked the
handlers to tell us a little something about their dogs.

Izzy lives with 11 others dogs, the majority being rehomed or rescue dogs. Two of the

show he can't bring himself to look at anything but dogs doing agility. He is also a
terrible little thief and steals the eggs from the hen house whenever he can. |

died as a puppy after chewing up some pot pourri which poisoned her. She spent several
days in intensive care at the vets. She couldn't even walk in a straight line. Hayly's
best buddy in the whole world is my other dog, Tully (a labrador). Hayly's favourite
sleeping position is on top of Tully. She will either sit or lie down on her. She started
doing this as a puppy, but now Hayly is bigger than Tully it looks ridiculous! Tully is
top dog but still tolerates Hayly as if she were a little puppy. They are best pals and
stick up for each other when they meet other dogs. I love them both to bits. |

Dee is one of the very few
beardies to make it to Grade 6. I don't know what else to say about her other than she
is the most brilliant dog. She is so loving and affectionate. She tries so hard to
please me, but she can also be the stereotypical beardie - irritating, noisy, stubborn
and self-opinionated, but I wouldn't swap her for anything. And yes, she comes with her
very own devil horns! |
