The
4th Height Jumping Cup, sponsored by DogFest, is continuing for a
further year in support of the introduction of a 4th height in Kennel Club
tests. The competition is open to dogs measuring into the KC Large height (i.e.
over 430mm). There will be ten heats around the country during 2015/2016,
culminating in the Grand Final in the main arena at the dog-centric public event DogFest 2016 at Great Park on 25-26 June. This exciting competition is your
opportunity to try your smaller Large dog over a lower height, so please do give
it a try. |

Agility
Challenge 2018
The Agility Challenge celebrates all that is good in the Agility calendar. It is one
of the must try for annual finals for the rising stars of the Agility world.
In 2018 it is being organised by Country Shows Agility and, for the first
time, is open to Large
dogs G1-4. |

This competition is open to all Grade
1-2 dogs of the correct size for each heat, but only those handled by an
Agility Club member at the time of competing may qualify for the Final. |

Burns
Welsh Handler of the Year
The
Burns Pet Nutrition Welsh Handler of the Year competition is open to any Large,
Medium or Small dog with a handler and/or owner (inc. joint) resident since 1
January 2015 or born in Wales. Dogs must run in two classes - one Agility and
one Jumping. Times and faults are added together with the winner being the dog
with fastest combined time and least faults. Eliminations are given 200 faults.
In the event of a tie, a further Jumping round will be held to determine the
overall competition winner(s). In the Jumping class, the winner of the Agility
round will run last and so on down to 12th place, according to placing achieved.
(Not size). There will be one set of awards for each class. |

The Camddwr Cup
The Camddwr Cup consists of eight
heats which are held at various Kennel Club licensed agility shows around the
country under KC rules and regulations. These heats will run throughout the year
with the Grand Final being held by kind permission of the Dog Vegas team, at
the Bakewell Agility Show in September. The first four handlers and dogs from
each heat will be invited to compete in the final. It will be open to eligible
dogs from Grades 3-5. |

CSJ Highland Agility Stakes
CSJ Highland Agility Stakes is the only competition for senior

jumps at full height. It's aim is to showcase the best of Scottish agility! |

internationally renowned SMART (Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Therapy)
Clinic, this special event is open to all dogs in the Large height category
(i.e. measuring over 430mm at the withers) with hurdles set at 550mm. |

LOW 550
Scotland is a Jumping Cup competition for handlers wishing to compete in a
prestigious qualifier at the same height as the Lower Height Option at KC Agility
tests. This Special sponsored event is open to all dogs in the Large height
category (i.e. measuring over 430mm at the withers) and with hurdles set at
550mm. The organisers are the same people who are doing the 4th Height Jumping
Cup and the LOW 550, with the addition of a Scot to help out locally. All are 4th Height Supporters. |

After
the success of SAM's League, Emily Osborne was asked about running a qualifier
for Small and Medium dogs as they often could not enter LHO classes. It’s been
more work organising than she expected but really fun to see how the idea has
developed. |
